The Beginning

It’s Thursday, 7:15am. I’m sitting in the lobby of the conference venue and Russ walks by.
A quick chat ensues and Russ ends it with “I’m expected you to stir a lot of shit…� , to which I respond “Oh f*ck yeah; once I’ve got my pass I’m going back to the hotel to get loaded on coffee!�

With that, Russ had given me my first laugh of the conference. Hopefully, the first of many.
